If you have ever tuned into Adult Swim late at night after all the Cartoon Network kiddies have gone to bed you know that you will get the chance to hear some laid back tunes, and watch your favorite nonsensical adult cartoons/shows.
Last week an announcement was made that the network would release a dream pop compilation called LUXE. The fifteen track album was released on the website today and is what dreams are made of. The effervescent songs provide melodies and lyrics similar to a dream that contribute to a chill state of mind.
Neon Indian, Toro Y Moi, Wye Oak, The Mountain Goats, Tei Shi, Active Child, and FEATHERS are just a few of the artists featured on this seamless album. Each song melts into the next providing for a silky experience on has to hear to believe.
Not only will you experience beautiful electronic notes, but indie pop and R&B also make up the track list for this musical journey.
