Grammy nominees Adventure Club are set to play Lavo NY ahead of the 60th Annual Awards celebration this Sunday night.
The Montreal natives are in the running for “Best Remixed Recording” for their rework of Kehlani’s “Undercover.” If you haven’t had the pleasure of listening to it yet, then be sure to check it out below. Adventure Club graces the track with their signature sound that is known by electronic revelers all over the world. Joining the duo in this category are nominees Louie Vega’s roots mix “Can’t Let You Go,” SMLE’s remix of “Funk O’ De Funk,” Four Tet’s remix of “A Violent Noise,” and Latroit’s remix of “You Move.”
Adventure Club first emerged in 2010 and embarked on a wild ride to their current post as not only a continuous driving force, but leaders in electronic music. Their breakout hit “Wonder” feat. Kite String Tangle from the 2013 debut EP Calling All Heroes has amassed over 11.9 million Spotify streams and earned a Gold certification in Canada. The tracks success paved the way to an eventual collection of Adventure Club classics we still listen to on repeat today, like their remix of Flight Facilities’ “Crave You,” Foxes’ “Youth”, and Metric’s “Collect Call,” and originals “Need Your Heart” feat. Kai and “Limitless” feat. Delaney Jane, just to name a few. Their full-length debut album RED // BLUE — featuring cuts like “Firestorm” feat. Sara Diamond and “Forever” feat. Ben Stevenson, along with other favorites including “Gold” feat. Yuna and “Crash” –peaked at #2 on both the Billboard Top Electronic Album and iTunes Dance Albums charts upon its release.
Now it’s time to celebrate the achievements and first-ever Grammy nomination of Adventure Club’s Leighton James & Christian Srigley. It’s all going down this Saturday, January 27th at Lavo NYC. Tickets are available for this club event here.
