Two days ago Zedd’s “Clarity” went gold, and today Afrojack’s “Take Over Control” reached platinum status. It’s nice to see two world class producers getting rewarded for their hard work. “Take Over Control”, featuring vocals by Eva Simons, was released October 10th, 2010 and has been making waves ever since. In my opinion these are awesome steps for electronic dance music because the sounds that we love are reaching more people.
Hopefully one day artists that don’t make as mainstream, radio friend dance music will rewarded for their efforts in the studio.
