Today Philos Records’ Ageless and rising producer Warp9 combined forces, letting go two remixes of each other’s tracks, culminating in two funky, space-age tracks. The first remix, Ageless’ remix of Warp9’s “Gypsy Djazz” is electro-swing, with a crisp beat and low, textured synths. The hip-hop feel of this track is also very evident, but with a bit of a dark vibe to it. The second remix, Warp9’s remix of Ageless’ “Water Cycle” is a future funk, hip-hop inspired jam. With soulful samples, tons of vocal chopping and heavy distortion, as well as an array of synth work, the two remixes go hand-in-hand very well.
