Well the news is in. The renowned All Good Music Festival will be leaving Marvin’s Mountaintop and heading to Legend Valley in Ohio (formerly Buckeye Lake Music Center). For festival heads around the US, this news is bitter sweet. All Good spent 9 years at Marvin’s and certainly provided it’s fans with some beautiful memories.
Those behind the production of the event stated that this move was crucial due to a lack of support from the county and community which they credited for a strenuous negative impact towards the fans. At times it would take 4 to 6 hours for concert goers to span the final 5 miles or so because of an extreme swarm of authorities. They also stated that they just never felt like the community fully embraced the “style” and “presence” that came along with this massive event.
Also mentioned was the Mass Gathering Ordinance recently passed which targeted this event specifically, raising taxes effecting the wallets of every attendee. Some may also speculate that the non drug related death of a young girl which has drawn lawsuits and major attention to the venue may have played a part. She was killed in her tent by truck who’s owner forgot to secure the parking break.
All Good has assured that this new community is welcoming the event with open arms. They also claim that the commute may be easier because the venue is close to I-70. Looking forward to everything being ALL GOOD.
