“Moonbird’s” trip-hop nature is rooted in both the electronic and organic instrumentation. It brings you to a place of contemplation using the vivid pictures brushed by the atmospheres Altvater creates. The sometimes glitchy beats overtop the piano and saxophone add a surreal touch to the organic aspect of this track, really making it more of an experience than a song in and of itself.
Altvater is a producer from Columbia, South Carolina, combining aspects of trip-hop, chill, and dance, to create an eased vibe and interesting soundscapes. “Moonbird” is the follow up single to his sophomore EP, Walking Creatures – more music is certainly under the belt of this solo producer, keep an eye out for more goodies soon.
