Dj Maluu returns with his second mashup this time taking an Alvin Risk Remix and pinning him against Skrillex. This is the follow up to My Pink Reptile Party, which is one of the top viewed posts on this blog and you should definitely check it out.
I got in touch with Maluu on this mashup and this is what he had to say about his newest mix:
With this mashup I wanted to stay true to the originals, but at the same time add my own unique flavor, which is rather difficult when all you have to work with is slicing and dicing .wav files 🙂 I tried to use my experience as a producer to do things that no one has ever heard before in a mashup.
For example, the drop around 3:40, Ruffneck goes into double time, this was accomplished purely from cuts. The original does not do include this part. My goal was to “Wow!” the audience and deliver an intense listening experience in a way the producers never intended.
