Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is Europe’s Winter Music Conference / EDM Biz and they’ve announced a stellar lineup for the festival portion of the 2013 event. Also included at ADE are The Playground, a transformation of Amsterdam featuring pop-up stores and unique events centering ARt, Film, Gear and In-Stores and the business conference. This year’s festival is taking place October 16 – 20 and estimated attendance is around 300,000 people from around the world.
The first round of festival acts includes:

The conference portion will bring together over 4,000 professionals from 75 countries and include dialogue and debate from industry veterans such as Nile Rodgers, Richie Hawtin, Shailendra Singh, Armin van Buuren, Martin Kierszenbaum, Hardwell, Bob Lefsetz, Don Diablo, Nikhil Shah, Dave Smith and many others.

– DJ Chuckie has also partnered with ADE for the first ever Electric Festival Aruba, where he plans on bringing dance music to the tropical island nation.
– Samsung is also the featured sponsor for ADE as well as Virgin Mobile Freefest. They’ve been able to connect to the youth demographic through music. No wonder they’re making more money than Apple.
