Up and coming DJ and producer Andrew Luce has recently released the new track “Take Me” in collaboration with Alexander Lewis and featuring vocals from singer Jojee.
Keeping true to his sound, Luce’s newest track is a combo of both hard-kicking bass and soft, melodic vocals, pulling inspiration from a wide array of references from today’s rap to UK Dub to 80s ballads. Luce has evolved and matured his sound, with new musical influences stemming from all genres, not just rap. This year sees the producer pushing the boundaries of his music sonically and culturally more than ever before, leaving listeners in anticipation of what direction Luce will head in next.
Alexander Lewis and I have been working together for a long time and had like 10 songs, but none of them really hit us. About a year ago, I got really into old ballads and their choir progression, and brought that inspiration to ‘Take Me’. Once we added Jojee, it was the perfect match. – Andrew Luce
A perfect match indeed, “Take Me” is definitely a club banger which you won’t be able to escape once the festival season begins.
