Andrew Rayel has paired up with electronic dance music songstress HALIENE for another melodic trance masterpiece,”In The Dark,” out now on inHarmony Music. Don’t be fooled by the song title, “In The Dark” is anything but dark, Rayel’s melodic chord progressions alongside HALIENE’s soaring vocals have the ability to transcend you into a state of euphoria. From the press of play, HALIENE’s captivating voice comes through, bringing to mind a catalog of dance hits she has lent her vocals on, such as Gareth Emery & Standerwick’s “Saving Light” and “Rush Over Me” with Seven Lions, Illenium, & Said The Sky.

The chorus instantly draws you in and tugs at your heart, focusing on HALIENE’s emotive words, “When I close my eyes, I can see you in the dark. Like a ghost inside, you’re still livin’ in my heart.” As the tears and goosebumps ensue, sharp synth blasts arrive and hit you with an endorphin rush. It’s one of those tracks that is perfect for the festival setting, tears one moment and dancing your heart out the next.
