Anjunadeep London Welcomes James Grant & Jody Wisternoff, Lane 8, Luttrell and YOTTO to Phonox

Anjunadeep is coming to London! The label’s shows have taken them across North America, Goa, Tokyo, Moscow, Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona and Mexico and now, the biggest and the best will play the UK capital at Phonox.

James Grant and Jody Wisternoff are known for their collaboration and especially their work on Anjunadeep 08 that carries forward their melodic and transcendental sound, exemplified on tracks like ‘Hunger Of The Pine’ and ‘Another Land’. ‘Love Is Not Enough’, featuring Above & Beyond and Zoe Johnston also showcases their ethereal and soothing music that is unique to both Jody Wisternoff and James Grant.

Lane 8 has a similar sound to that of the headliners of this Anjunadeep event, which is most prominently shown with his most recent release on the label, ‘Aba’. Daniel Goldstein will also take his deep house style to Anjunadeep Brighton on the 28th and Anjunadeep Bristol on the 29th before the London show on the 30th.

Luttrell’s sound is perfect for a boogie in a Brixton intimate venue and with tracks like ‘Like It Is’ and his most recent EP Need You, Phonox is set to be the place to be next weekend. ‘Don’t Forget To Breathe’ gets a little darker with its reverberations but still maintains the holy and somewhat religious atmosphere Anjunadeep seem to be attempting to create with their choice of artists for the night.

Yotto as an opener will help to set the scene for the night and as such an eclectic artist, he will be sure to play a range of different tracks to help feed into Luttrell and Lane 8. For example, while ‘Personal Space’ takes on a more deep house sound, similar to that of Jody Wisternoff and James Grant, ‘Cooper’s Cup’ could pass as a techno track. There’s a lot to expect from all these artists.
