ANNA has officially dropped her remix of Jon Hopkins’ “Singularity” 2018 release.
This has been an incredibly strong year for Jon Hopkins. He released his critically acclaimed Singularity EP and has been busy selling out shows world-wide. While he continues to build on his impressive repertoire, the English producer and musician is best known for composing nominated soundtracks for films like Monster, and producing and contributing to albums by Brian Eno, Coldplay, and David Holmes. Now, the title-track to his latest work is reworked by one of the fastest-rising artists in techno today.
Easily one of our new favorite DJ and producers, ANNA is quickly becoming a trailblazer with her chart-topping hits like “Hidden Beauties” and “When I Am Only A Dream.” Now, the Brazilian-native is back with a dynamic remix on Domino as she continues to carve out a reputation for herself.
In this rendition of “Singularity,” ANNA takes the transcendent feels of the original track and turns it into a hard-hitting, hypnotic beauty. It offers steady, driving builds that will keep you enticed and moving until it unloads its dark, hair-raising drops — our favorite coming in heavy at 4:01.
