Tipsy Records is a label that typically features a range of sounds within the chill house realm, from tropical-esque house music to tunes you’d expect to find in a modern smooth jazz club. This time they surprise yet again with their signing of Malarkey’s “Arcade Brain”. While certainly embracing a common relaxing element within, “Arcade Brain” has a strong video-game / fantasy feel placed inside. Suprisingly, it still fits in the realm of what Tipsy Tortoise typically releases, the tune just works when you listen to th the Tipsy Records discography and compare.
“Arcade Brain” by Malarkey is fun, bouncy, and doesn’t feature dull moments at any point.
From the looks of it, Malarkey is only settling for label releases, previously releasing on FATED Records and now Tipsy, will he release on another label next or perhaps self release? Only time will tell.
