Archnemesis just released Every Man For Himself their third EP and it’s serving as the perfect sounding mellow jams to come down from a long weekend of raging at Electric Zoo. Archnemesis, the brainchild of Curt Heiny and Justin Aubuchon, have built a loyal following for their electro-soul tunes that combine original music with samples spanning early 20’s blues and jazz to modern hip hop.
It’s rare to hear electronic dance music outside of Denver (or PLM) that’s focused on production, sound and emotion – or that doesn’t jump on trends. The tracks on Every Man For Himself seamlessly flow from one to the other, and while the EP shows a noticeable evolution of the group’s sound into heavier vibes, it never loses that jam feel.
