During today’s broadcast Armin van Buuren mention ‘The Expedition’ anthem, a record that he created with Markus Schulz. The tune will be the official theme song of the A State Of Trance 600 tour, it will be premiered on an ASOT episode early in the new year. While we are on the topic of the ASOT600 tour, the Mumbai lineup was announced today. It includes artists Aly and Fila, Armin van Buuren, Arnej Secerkadic, Rank1, and Shogun.

You may be wondering why it’s taking Armin a while to announce the New York and Miami lineups, the tweet below should explain it all. I know we are all impatient, but I’m anticipating New York and Miami to have the best lineup of the 600 tour (hence why it’s released last).

Oct/11/12 – Today Armin van Buuren announced the first six stops of the A State Of Trace 600 tour during a special broadcast of ASOT 583 from the Amsterdam Dance Event. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my twitter timeline overflow like it did this afternoon. With the recently release of Armin’s emotive documentary titled ‘A Year with Armin van Buuren‘, it is my hope (along with many others) that he retains his position as number one DJ in the world. As a trance legend AVB has provided uplifting music and life changing performances for fans world wide, hence why every raver on earth wants him in to perform in their city. Over the last few months trace lovers campaigning via various twitter accounts hoping that their city would be one of the lucky six. If you missed our live twitter coverage you can check out the six cities in the order they were announced below along with the dates of each event.
We will be updating this post as we get more information about venues, tickets, etc. So far the only show that has tickets available is Den Bosch’s on April 6th. The A State Of Trance website is currently having trouble handling the amount of people who are rushing to buy their ticket (which is to be expected). I’d also like to remind everyone that there will be more cities announced in the future, don’t stop campaigning! Armin said it himself:
