Back in 2011 Armin van Buuren’s management team announced that the trance heavyweight would be taking a trip to space in 2014 courtesy of SXC. Just yesterday, Armin took to Facebook to remind old fans and inform new ones that the trip is still on. As one of the 100 ‘Founder Astronauts’, van Buuren will go through a series of training exercises to prepare him for his Journey.
This is a massive step into the realm of space-tourism, and who better to kick it off than the worlds #1 DJ. I’m expecting a special “A State Of Space” broadcast next year and I couldn’t be more pumped for it.
