Artifakts Remixes Pretty Lights’ “Let The World Hurry By” and Drops Original “So Much Better” (Free Downloads)

Today we grant you two gems from the unique electro-hip-hop Wisconsin producer Artifakts. The first is a downtempo remix of Pretty Lights’ “Let The World Hurry By” off his 2010 EP ‘Spilling Over Every Side’. Garret Meyer takes the hard-hitting, face-paced original and slows it way down, adding a chill beat and some melodramatic guitar.

Additionally, he dropped an original that he’s been holding onto for a bit, entitled “So Much Better”. He first premiered this one during his Wilde N’ Out set, and seems like it’s finally clean and mastered now. It’s a feel-good tune, with some funky guitar playing and soulful sampling. The incorporation of the live guitar in Artifakts’ newer tracks is adding a really awesome effect. Be on the lookout for Artifakts first EP, coming out on vinyl soon!
