After days of contemplation, the artist behind ID track “Megalodon” has been revealed. Turns out none of the big names speculated on, such as Martin Garrix, Carnage, and Borgore, among others, were responsible for this intense, synth-driven beat. The man behind the music is KSHMR, and to be honest, we know almost as little about him now as we did before his identity was revealed.
What we do know is that many of the scene’s most respected artists are standing behind this rookie producer. Hardwell, Sander van Doorn and Nicky Romero have all showed their support by playing the ID track on their respective radio shows and in DJ sets. Spinnin’ Records featured it in their teaser video for this year’s Spinnin’ Sessions. We may not know a lot about Kshmr now, but I have a feeling that’s about to change.
