While digging through the Infrasound 2015 lineup that just dropped last week we came across a German that’s tearing faces with his dubstep by the name of Bukez Finezt. The sounds ripping through the speakers during his sets are an array of bass heavy beats ranging from Trap to Dubstep in an aggressive manner.
Bukez hails from Cologne Germany and has been producing music since the mid-90s. He started with Rap and Breakbeat before moving into Drum and Bass (DNB) around 2000. His first venture into producing Dubstep came in 2006 after a friend brought him into the scene and influenced him with OG names like Caspa, Rusko, and Skream.
Since 2006 Bukez has carved out a name for himself in the bass scene in Europe by progressing and innovating within the genre. Like many electronic genres Dubstep has opportunities for repetitiveness, but Bukez has managed to defy that trend. He varies his percussion, womps, and drops so each song is distinct enough to be separated from one another. We’re digging “Duck Trumpet” and “Welcome” check em below.
Last year Bukez also started applying his bass skills to trap and the outcome has been some great work. He’s stayed away from the “mainstream” sound that we’re all weary of and instead just brings you straight bass, horns, and gangsta vocal samples that get you shrugging out. Check out “PHAT BITCH” and “Unicorn” below
We hope you dig the Bukez Finezt sound! He’ll be making some stops in the U.S. this year including at one of our most highly anticipated festivals this summer Infrasound in Wisconsin. We’ll be there getting down to Bukez filthy beats along with all the freaks Infra is bound to bring out.
