Unfortunately something tragic happened to one of the crew members at Privilege Nightclub in Ibiza and the event has been cancelled. Tonight’s party was set to close out the season at the club, instead will serve as a sad reminder that there are things significantly more important than dance music.
Here’s the statement from the ASOT Website:
We’re very sorry we have to announce the cancellation of the official A State of Trance Ibiza Closing Party at Privilege Ibiza. Due to a terrible accident that happened to one of the crew members during the buildup at Privilege, we have to cancel the event. It would not feel right to celebrate or party.
We’re very sorry to disappoint the ASOT fans, who travelled to Ibiza from all across the globe to witness this night. Visitors can get a refund of their tickets at the door of Privilege tonight.
At this time the event does not look like it will be rescheduled.
