AstroLizard’s “Need You” Is Out Now!

AstroLizard is back with another WAKAAN release and it’s juicy as hell! Before we get into that, you may be wondering, who exactly is AstroLizard? We are still trying to figure that out. Heres what we do know:

2020 was a hell of a strange year so it makes complete sense that an alien lizard DJ would crash his/her (we don’t actually know) spaceship on our lovely planet in 2021! After traveling all the way from their home star system, the newest member of the Wakaan team, AstroLizard, landed upon our dearest planet with a collection of wonky bass music for us earthlings to completely indulge on. Word on the street is “AstroLizard is a refugee from their home planet after it was destroyed by weapons of mass destruction”. Hopefully, our planet treats them well because we definitely don’t want them leaving us anytime soon!

Already this year, AstroLizard crushed their remix of Liquid Stranger‘s “Psychonaut“, part of the WAKAAN Fathers EP released back in February. The EP featured artists such as 12th Planet, Mersiv, LUZCID, and more. A total of 8 artists reworking Liquid Stranger’s powerhouse track “Psychonaut”. We are obviously biased to AstroLizard’s version on this one. Listen HERE!

AstroLizard also came out with “The Mutation”, “Big Wub Energy”, and “Space Cowboy”- which by the way, tell us that’s not LSDREAM. Unlikely, as we know Sami has his own album dropping soon, but come on now! There’s a hell of a resemblance and we aren’t mad at it! In fact, his latest, “Need You” also has BIG Sami vibes. “Need You” is quite literally the Big Wub Energy Wakaan fans live for, and we are HERE FOR IT. “Need You” takes you on a joyride. It’s that song that belongs on everyone’s Beat Saber “favorites”. The energy is high throughout the entire track, the experimental vibes are huge, and the bass comes right at you! There’s no doubt Astrolizard’s latest will be making its way on every dub/bass fan’s playlist in no time!

We may not know who this mysterious creature/producer is just yet, but we’ve been told he doesn’t plan to permanently reside here on Earth. While he’s here though, he’s ready to give us all the music and art and this lizard clearly has a good feel for what the bass humans like to hear! He’s got an album in the works, and shows & festivals are opening up once again, be sure to keep your eye out for the AstroLizard name on the next big festie lineup! Go listen to “Need You” right now!
