It was only a matter of time before Cazzette, also with At Night Management, took a shot at the mammoth Avicii track Levels. We had to know that when they did take a chance at the house anthem of 2011, that it would be killer. This was dropped on BBC Radio 1 which has been nothing but impressive to me lately. They just seem to have a knack for quality content and always seem to seize opportunities to premiere big tracks.
Notice the build up early on the Pretty Lights sample, which sets the tone for the whole glitch infused song. Soon after you will hear the bass line gets much heavier than the house original. The radio broadcaster said it perfectly in this preview, “When in doubt, play Levels“. Coming from someone who has never mixed anything in his life, this is my only advice to any of you dj’s. Soak this one in for a second.
