It’s been two years since their appearance together at UMF 2012, but a collaboration between Avicii and “The Queen of Pop” has now materialized. Two nights ago, Madonna revealed via Instagram that she was going to hit the studio with Avicii.

At an age when she should be washed up, Madonna remains extremely relevant. She stirred up a lot of controversy with her infamous “molly” chant at UMF, but it seemed to actually help her rather than hurt her — her MDNA Tour was the highest grossing tour in 2012 ($305 million), and she was dubbed as Forbes’ highest paid musician of 2013, raking in an absurd $125 million.
Couple this with Avicii’s knack for creating dance music hits, and we have a song in the making that could get more airplay than “LE7ELS” and “Wake Me Up” combined (OH NO!)
