Only days ago he teased this retirement releasing a tweet saying “The music industry will never be the same”.
The famed producer had struggled with health issues in recent years that had forced him to cancel many of his existing shows, perhaps retirement is just what he needs. We wish all the best to Avicii and his future endeavors.But as he closes, forever is never forever:
I will however never let go of music – I will continue to speak to my fans through it, but I’ve decided this 2016 run will be my last tour and last shows. Let’s make them go out with a bang!
One part of me can never say never, I could be back …but I won’t be right back.
