Fans of Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso had their minds blown today when they found clues hidden all around New York City that gave information on their new single, “On My Way” to be debuted this Sunday, June 8th at Governors Ball Music Festival. They took fans on a wild treasure hunt scouring the streets of NYC looking to find meaning in the lyrics on posters scattered throughout the city. However, that wasn’t the only surprise Axwell and Ingrosso had up their sleeve.
This afternoon Axwell tweeted the following, allowing all of their fans to participate in building the song together.

Then, maps were displayed showing fans where exactly they could find each of the clues, and more importantly how to put them together.
They got creative with the clues, not only were there posters; but also several other forms of media as well. All over NYC today was the prominent /\ symbol, although probably only a fraction of the people that saw them knew what they were for.
After fans had posted several of their photos and most of the lyrics had been revealed, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso let admirers in on another surprise. Today, they sent out 5000 packages including personal letters, sheet music, scratch off lottery tickets (to win a fly-away trip) and few received t-shirts and posters with the “On My Way” lyrics on them.
Needless to say, we’re extremely anxious to hear the final product. Lucky listeners at the (practically) sold out Governor’s Ball will be the first to get a sneak peek listen at the latest Axwell /\ Ingrosso collaboration. A limited amount of Super VIP three-day tickets are still available here.
