With the countdown on to this year’s event, Backwoods Camping and Music Festival keeps the anticipation growing, dropping awesome announcements left and right. With festival additions like a giant hay maze, a 300 foot slip and slide, a new lake stage, improvements to last year’s existing stages and hangout areas, and a Thursday Pre-Party featuring Desert Dwellers, Space Jesus and Esseks; we ask: could this festival get any better?
Backwoods thinks so.
This week they announced even more exciting news: introducing the After Hours Campground Stage, a new late night stage that will start up once the main venue has closed. Headliners include Yheti, Spankalicious, Alejo, and many more bass heavy artists, making this a go-to spot for all bass loving attendees seeking those late night (and early morning) wubs.
To assure attendees the best auditory experience, Backwoods brought in the experts. Soundsystem Cultures, a sound production company based out of Chicago and Chattanooga, will be running sound all weekend on the After Hours Campground Stage, providing an official Funktion One sound system for your listening pleasure.
For those who don’t know: Funktion One is one of the best-known speaker manufacturers in the industry. Praised for their high efficiency, low distortion, and organic and direct sound, these powerful systems are amongst the best quality you will find and have become the standard for clubs owners, DJs, electronic music producers, and listeners alike. It’s no secret that Funktion One is the top of the line choice when building a bass lovers haven. So when a festival that has already brought out the big guns announces a late night lineup like this, we wouldn’t expect anything less.
Funktion One specialists and sound authorities, Soundsystem Cultures, have worked to bring top quality Funktion One sound to some of the best venues and festivals across the country. You might have seen their setups most recently running at Infrasound Music Festival or Tipper and Friends Full Moon Gathering. Guaranteed that if this crew is running sound for some of the hottest rising artists in the bass music scene, the After Hours Campground Stage will be throwing down some of the heaviest sets of the weekend.

The After Hours Campground Stage will be found in between GA Camping and Car Camping. If you haven’t already yet, be sure to grab your GA Ticket with camping so you don’t miss any of the late night happenings or the pre-party.
