As an integral part of the backbone that has made Drumcode what it is today and a true legend in his own right, Bart Skils makes a massive return to the label with his recently released Settle in the Sun EP.
The EP is made up of three brilliant tracks including “Settle in the Sun,” “Tropical Heat,” and “Shive Says.” Delivering his signature big riffs, drumlines that offer delicious, rolling grooves, and manmoth synth drives that hit just right, this techno beauty is one of our favorites of the Dutchman’s work to date. This marks Bart Skils first solo EP since 2018.
Since making his debut on the label back in 2012, Bart Skils remains one of Drumcode’s most prominent players. He’s released a total of nine original EPs, collaborated with Adam Beyer on the now ever-so-popular “Your Mind,” and continues to help nurture the label’s rising talents, having teamed up with Weska on Polarize and playing b2b with Layton Giordani.
