Today the duo Bass Physics out of Colorado release a new electro-soul track entitled “Summer Solstice”. These two are pretty new to the scene but have already been making a lot of noise with a sound very reminiscent of Pretty Lights.
Boasting a combination of expertly crafted tracks and live instrumentation, Bass Physics have all the potential to be the next big thing from Colorado. Their genre-bending sound carries on in the tradition of the soulful electronic music that fuses hip-hop samples and smooth, vibrant melodies, but with the added bonus of live keyboard and guitar. While some songs weave beautifully expressive sonic landscapes, others explode with power and energy. – Bass Physics Facebook page
“Summer Solstice” is a slow melodic track with a translucent feeling to it. The samples, synths, keys and guitars blend together beautifully. Appropriately named “Solstice”, you can really feel yourself falling into this track as if it never ends. Luckily these two have been kind enough to let it go for free. Download now and enjoy.
