Bassnectar recently made an announcement about the new things to come this year from him and his team. The famous melodic dubstep artist who brought us unforgettable tracks like “Basshead”, “You and Me”, and “Speakerbox” is planning to release new music as well as some collabs with others, like ATLiens, Dirtyphonics, and G Jones to name a few.
He plans to keep growing his Ambassador Program for his shows, which enlists seasoned festival and event goers to provide support for newcomers. While all of this is exciting and endearing, the most prominent thing in this sneak peak announcement is what he is hinting at for Atlanta.
He moved the “family gathering” show from Atlanta to Atlantic City this past February. While some are able to make the commute in April, others have to forfeit the experience, which is a bummer. However, this lovely little hint that he has left us will definitely raise spirits and get us excited for the end of the year.
“Since we moved our “family gathering” concept out of Atlanta and over to Atlantic City for 2017, expect something RIDICULOUSLY SPECIAL for ATL toward the end of the year…
…and as for all you fortunetellers trying to predict when the next Bass Center will be, let’s just say it will be spread across 3 days, on one of the largest 3-day holiday weekends of the year…”
You can check out the sneak peak post here. The hint isn’t too ambiguous, so it’s safe to say you can get your hopes up for a kick ass event hitting Atlanta, whether it’s the ground shaking Bass Center or maybe something even more special. (Though, having the bass so heavy it convinces citizens near you to think it’s an earthquake is kind of hard to surpass).
