It’s dark, it’s strange, it’s grimy – and it reminds us of everything we’ve come to know and love about Bassnectar over the course of his decade and a half long career. We’re talking about “Slather,” the latest release collaborating with Digital Ethos, released on November 5th via Amorphous Records. The highly anticipated track has been whispered about since being dropped at festivals like Suwanee Hulaween and teased on social media. It will be featured in Part 2 of The Bass God’s Reflective EP, set to be released into the universe on December 1st. The tracks music video, also released this week, is the perfect tripped out counterpart to the wobbling, bass-driven sounds of Slather.
