Bassnectar and Jantsen have been collaborating for years and the results have always been thrilling, from “Red Step” to “Blast Off” and “Lost In the Crowd (LocoJa Remix)”. They say some things never change, and that’s certainly true when it comes to these prolific producers whose newest collaboration “Every Time” is coming to destroy a dance floor near you.
Jantsen’s saucy style seems to bring something pure and simple out of Lorin Ashton’s production as “Every Time” could find no place on either of Lorin’s more recent and complex releases, Into The Sun and Noise Vs. Beauty. The song’s vibe fits perfectly into Jansten’s pigeonhole, however, with crisp drums, well-pitched synthesizers and sardonic melodies which would surely split eardrums if blasted from a colossal sound system in a live setting.
It’s all about 808’s and fat synthesizers for these two producers, and “Every Time” has both in spades. Catch Bassnectar on Halloween or New Year’s Eve where he’ll surely bust out this massive track, and if you’re not familiar with Jantsen, well, get familiar fool!
