For the fourth straight New Years Eve, Lorin Ashton and crew confirmed today that they will be tearing the house down yet again at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Each year since 2011 Bass Heads have congregated down south for a once a year show unlike any other Bassnectar puts on. In an arena seemingly built for this very night, a 360 degree rotating stage graces the middle of the floor with fans surrounding it on all sides giving an immersive, one-of-a-kind feel to the night that you won’t get anywhere else.
Joining Bassnectar will be the legendary god of glitch Tipper as well as big up and comer G Jones. Fans all around have been clamoring for a Bassnectar/Tipper show to come to fruition and today finally confirmed the rumors that have been popping up left and right. These three sounds will mesh beautifully on the 31st and in my mind couldn’t have been more carefully chosen.
To the relief of some, unlike last year this show will be an 18+ event. Pre-sale tickets go on sale this Wednesday 10/6 at 11 AM Central Time and all fanclub pre-sale tickets will come with a wristband allowing for access to the floor area.
