And finally, we have the answer we’ve all been waiting for. Bassnectar’s latest Into The Sun LP will be set for release on 6/30, as specified in his Red Rocks Recap blog post. After months…and months…and months of waiting for the highly anticipated mixtape, Bass Heads all around will be getting much more than they bargained for; it’ll be worth the wait.
Into The Sun will contain 16 tracks, all topped off with a 75 minute long continuous mix as the delicious cherry on top. Lorin has been teasing the new Bassnectar tracks at fests like EDCNY and unleashed them for full display this past weekend at Red Rocks. On the last day of the month however, we’ll all wake up to a Christmas tree full of new tracks ready to be heard at last.
Pre-orders for the LP will be available on 6/16 and purchasers will have access to five of the tracks two weeks before the official release date. While we all crave the music right now, it will undoubtably make his Bonnaroo and Electric Forest sets that much more unpredictable and special, not knowing what’s to come.
