If you’ve ever attended a multi-day music festival, I know you’ll agree with me. Once that wristband goes on, you enter a sort of warp. It doesn’t matter if you’re in the heart of a major city, or in the middle of nowhere. Music festivals bend time and space.
As if you needed another music festival to add to your roster, the eighth annual Berlin Festival will touch down in Berlin, Germany in less than two months. The entire festival, including an enormous post-performance Silent Disco with 10,000 + headphones, will take place on the grounds of Berlin’s historic Tempelholf airport.
I’ve never been to an international festival before, but I bet partying in hangars once used in World War II will be especially surreal. The lineup includes some big names in electronic and indie music including Miike Snow, Dada Life, Crookers, SBTRKT, and Major Lazer.
