As Big Dub Festival gets closer and closer with each passing day, RaverRafting is back with another artist spotlight on the bass festival. After covering some of the most premiere Disciple artists at the festival, today we offer you some insight at one of the hardest bass acts at Big Dub, Terravita. Composed of the duo Chris Barlow and Jon Spero, Terravita has been destroying the bass scene for sometime now. Getting their beginnings as early as 2012, Terravita have released countless EP, singles, and remixes throughout their career. Head banging bass is what they’re known for and with every release they continue to show their natural talent when it comes to producing. Terravita is set to perform friday of Big Dub festival and will take the stage right before Downlink closes the main stage at 11:15.
They’re one of the bigger names on the Big Dub lineup and for the right reason. Fresh off their “The Fallen” EP, we can expect to hear some truly fantastic head bangers from this iconic duo. Featuring collaborations from artists like Bare, Riot Ten, and Half Empty, their newest EP is something you need to experience to understand. However, what makes Terravita unique is their ability to adapt their production skills and produce anything they want. With roots that come from hip-hop, metal, and melodic bass, there is nothing that Terravita has an issue producing. Although they’re known for the bass they bring, expect their set to be a mix of anything that they know will fuel the crowd’s energy. Diversity in production is something we love at RaverRafting and Terravita have proven again and again that genres don’t contain them or their sound. With dubstep that reminds you of the days when Skrillex first rose to fame, Terravita are a must see act as Big Dub. Let’s take a look at some of our favorite Terravita tracks and be sure to catch their set on friday at the “Stone Circle” stage at 10:20.
Tickets for Big Dub are still available and can be purchased here. Big Dub is set to take place on Four Quarters farm this week July 26th-31st. Big Dub is the most premiere bass festival on the east coast and has featured some of the best bass acts in the industry since its birth in 2013. We look forward to seeing you all this weekend!
