For many in the Big Dub family the festival is more about the environment and culture than the lineup, but that hasn’t stopped Badass Raves from delivering top of the line artists year after year after year. This year there was a bit of a delay while some final details were locked down, but it was absolutely worth it as the 8th annual Big Dub Festival lineup could in fact be the very best yet.
The festival headlines fam favorites Liquid Stranger and Minnesota, and also welcomes dubstep legend Doctor P to the mountain. Along with some killer b2b dubstep sets it also headlines some AMAZING drum and bass with Planet of the Drums, Calyx & Teebee, and genre pioneer Roni Size.
Second tier contains just as much variety of fire, featuring some of bass music’s biggest up and coming talent, as well as some veterans like DJ Dan and The Widdler. Whether you like heavy dubstep, funky music, or just the weirder styles of bass, this lineup will excite with its balance and high-class.
Last but not least, Big Dub’s list of local talent is always something to watch out for. Hand picked from members of the family they keep the energy and vibe of the festival on lock through the days. If you really take some time exploring the stages during the day you could discover some talent that deserves to eventually make their way to the top of the lineup.
