Big Gigantic, who has not visited Birmingham, AL since 2014, will make their long-awaited appearance in the city on October 26 at Iron City. They will be provided support from Louis Futon, an electronic producer of his own unique genre that makes you want to get on your feet. This night will be jam packed with original hits and well-known favorites, and you do not want to miss out.
Big Gigantic
Big Gigantic is a well-known dynamic duo composed of Dominic Lalli (saxophone) and Jeremy Salken (drums). The pair also adds a little extra electronic twist to their music, which is what makes them such a hit with their listeners. Their most recent album, Brighter Future, released on Big Gigantic Records, includes singles such as “Got The Love” featuring Jennifer Hartswick, “C’mon” featuring GRiZ, and “The Little Things” featuring Angela McCluskey. Big Gigantic has performed in front of crowds at festivals such as Lollapalooza, Electric Forest, Shaky Beats, Wakarusa, and more.
A few years ago, the two started #ABigGiganticDifference to support a local, nonprofit charity in each city on their tour. They are helping to support these charities by donating a percentage of their ticket sales from each show, and the profits from their Birmingham show are going towards aiding the quest to end Youth Homelessness by donating to Project HOPE/Family Connection. Lalli and Salken are always fighting to help those in need and they never disappoint. Big Gigantic’s Brighter Future tour is going to be one for the books, and you should not miss it.
