Big Gigantic has released their second single Nocturnal, off of their new album set to drop on January 11th, 2012 for free. I love when edm artist take the Pretty Lights approach to releasing free music and building a reputation / community that way.
Nocturnal starts out with this smooth jazz lines provided by Dominic on the saxophone followed by some wobbly bass. Nocturnal has an upbeat electro drop around 2:40 in that is guaranteed to make the crowd go into a weird dancing frenzy.
It’s different than the first single Rise and Shine and really shows the evolution of Big Gigantic. We can’t wait for the new album to drop and this will have to hold us over in the mean time.
