The time is almost upon us! Billboard Hot 100 Music Festival will be returning to Jones Beach Theater in three weeks. Jones Beach is known for its standout amphitheater that regularly hosts concerts spanning across multiple genres of music. In addition to the amphitheater, Billboard features two other stages only a small walk away. As the days creep closer fans could not be more excited as Billboard has gone above and beyond with this year’s lineup bringing in artists such as Zedd, Marshmello, Big Sean, Demi Lovato, and Major Lazer. Pack your sunscreen and your camelback as this Billboard could turn out to be one of its hottest years yet with temperatures soaring into the upper 90’s in recent days. However, no amount of heat or weather will damper the spirit of fans that is brought to the festival each year. In preparation for Billboard, RaverRafting will be highlighting an artist that we would mark on our “must see” list, none other than Justin Caruso.
The young rising star has been making a name for himself through his impressive remixes and top notch originals. The LA based producer has a couple heavy hitting remixes of The Chainsmoker’s tracks and even toured with them a tad. He recently embarked on a fall tour with 3lau that touched down in cities like New York, LA, and Miami. On the production side of things, Caruso’s sound generally leans toward the ever popular future bass genre. He appears to have a niche for it, however that hasn’t stopped him from venturing into genres such as house and bass. His last performance in New York with 3lau consisted mainly a mix of bass, house, and future bass. We can likely expect his set at Billboard to follow suit, so let’s take a listen to some of our favorite Justin Caruso tracks to get ourselves into the mindset.
