UK-bred, LA-based DJ/producer Billy Kenny showcases his signature eclectic style with a brand new three-track EP, Seahorses, released on his highly esteemed imprint, This Ain’t Bristol.
Opening with the title track, “Seahorses,” Billy Kenny samples vocals from Dan Deacon’s hilarious viral audio, “Drinking Out Of Cups” over a thumping tech-house bassline. Following with “Jump Onna Beat,” the dance floor is set ablaze with playful animated synth work. The EP concludes with what has become Billy Kenny’s area of expertise, taking earthlings to outer space to “Move Like Aliens.” From start to finish, Seahorses gets you weird and moving, and that is exactly why we love Billy Kenny.
