Birthdayy Partyy is easily one of the fastest growing duos we’ve seen come up within a year. The Chicago born twins hit the ground running in 2018 with over 20 releases, almost averaging one every two weeks. It is pretty incredible how hard these two work and it hasn’t gone unnoticed. They have received support from tastemakers like Jauz, Lektrique, and Insomniac Records to quickly landing themselves on stages of some of the biggest festivals in the U.S. including EDC Las Vegas, Spring Awakening and E Zoo.
Just last month, Jon and Bryan celebrated their own birthday with their special throwback remix of Bring Me the Horizon’s, “Ouch”, giving us all of that hard hitting bass goodness that we have come to love from them. Coming up on their third release of the year, Birthdayy Partyy has brought some delicious “Cake” to the party for us to devour.
Collaborating with Bassnectar’s longtime collaborator and emcee, Born I, “Cake” blasts into the sound waves with incredible velocity and raucous bass. With fast paced breakbeat underpinning the synth melody, Birthdayy Partyy immediately sits us down into the track before Born I spits, reminding us all “It’s your birthday/ Do what you want”.
Birthdayy Partyy definitely brought all that bass to eat with that “Cake” and we’re hungry for more. You can stream “Cake” on Soundcloud now.
