In case you hadn’t heard, Bluetech has been putting out truly unique and diverse tracks for about 8 years now. He’s got a downtempo, ambient-psychedelic sort of sound. Forgive me for sounding cliche, but each track of his exhibits a “musical journey.” At this point in his career, he realized he doesn’t need more success; additionally, he found himself upset by the systematic destruction of today’s world, and so wanted to do something to give back.
Thus, this past summer he released “Rainforest Reverbation: An Amazon Benefit. 100 percent of the proceeds of this album work to end deforestation, species loss, and cultural upheaval in the Amazon.” You can stream the album below, and click the link to buy it and show support:
The first track of his I heard was Burning Waters, and I’ve been hooked ever since. Stream more on his MySpace and check his website for more info.
