Blvk Sheep is one of those trap artists who beats the competition by going harder, pushing farther, and being louder with his productions. The solo artist based out of New York took yet another step higher on the ladder of success via his Quality Good Records release of “Mania”. Given the title, it’s no secret this single shouldn’t be handled by the faint of heart.
“Mania” goes off, starting off the journey with a classic dark trap melody laced with sprinkled high-hats, then is followed by a massive, grinding drop that falls somewhere between a hard-trap sound that SAYMYNAME made famous and a weird trap sound that Quix made famous. The heavy vibe you are introduced to in the first drop reinvents itself as a faster, more intense version the second time around.
Blvk Sheep knows how to make solid bangers, “Mania” captures a good chunk of what Blvk Sheep has built his name on.
