Bobby Nourmand Brings Simon and Garfunkel Into the Underground With “The Sound”

Fast-rising producer/DJ, Bobby Nourmand, is unique in what he does. Last year, Nourmand released a remix of The Doors’ classic, “Peace Frog,” turning the popular rock track into a groovy, deep house track more fitting for the London underground circuit. In an effort to start 2015 strong, Nourmand has remix Simon & Garfunkel’s timeless anthem “The Sounds of Silence” from a melodic vocal track into a dark, bass-driven tune.

Nourmand renames the track as “The Sound,” and masterfully weaves together pulsing bass lines, subtle synth patterns, and a pitched down vocal sample, giving the track a dark, techno-esque feel. Check out the track for yourself below and grab the free download!
