Bobby Shmurda Joined The Chainsmokers at Electric Zoo 2014

The Chainsmokers brought out a very special guest at Electric Zoo in New York City on Sunday, August 31st before the event was later shut down due to weather. Their guest was Bobby Shmurda, a Brooklyn based rapper who recently signed with the Epic imprint for $2 million. Shmurda may be most widely known right now for his six second #ShmoneyDance vine video. Regardless, the guy has got talent and surprised earlybird Electric Zoo ravers by performing with possibly the hottest duo in the dance music world right now.

Earlier in the week Alex and Drew, The Chainsmokers, hinted at an Electric Zoo 2014 surprise on their Instagram.

They quickly followed that clip up with this clip:

Yes, I don’t think that anyone would have guessed that The Chainsmokers were going to bring out Shmurda – but that’s what made the surprise special. I got a last-minute text confirming the performance and I was a pretty upset that I couldn’t make it.
