The artists that will perform at the beloved Bonnaroo have been secured, and finally as of 8:00 this morning announced. U2 will celebrating a special tour to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the album The Joshua Tree that made them an unstoppable universal force.
What better way than to headline Bonnaroo?? Would that in turn make Bonnaroo now Bonoroo?
U2 will be joined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and The Weeknd to headline the 16th year of the now infamous festival that takes place the second weekend in June.
Other big names that are sprinkled in the EDM heavy line up this year include Grammy nominated Flume, the instant sensation Marshmello, and Major Lazer who is rumored to drop a new album sometime this month.
The mayor of Bonnaroo will also be returning this year, Chance the Rapper has finally earned his rightful place in the headliners. Going from special appearances to main stage Chance will now be able to live out his dream.
2017 will no doubt be a year of surprises with Bonnaroo you just never know what to expect.
Tickets were just released again after pre-sale. Make sure you act fast the tickets are already at Tier 2.
