Announced this week were the details of Bonnaroo’s 2018 SuperJam. An assortment of talented artists come together and play covers of songs to commemorate great artists.
Bonnaroo’s 2018 SuperJam has been named “Into The Great Wide Open” in honor of the late Tom Petty. Patrick Hallahan of My Morning Jacket and Craig Pfunder of VHS or Beta will co-host the SuperJam and lead several artists in covering the music of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. The other members of the main band that will be rocking out those Tom Petty tunes include Wilco multi-instrumentalist Pat Sansone, MMJ bassist Tom Blankenship, Mark Heideger of Vandaveer, Daniel Creamer of The Texas Gentlemen and The Watson Twins round out the main band.The SuperJam will be the late night Friday entertainment and is promised to be full of surprise guests and special moments.
