New to Drama Club Recordings this week is the fiery four-track Old Gold from New Orleans dubstep producer Boogie T. Managing to seamlessly combine influences from ragga, dub, bass and trap into four track, this one definitely deserves some attention.
Featuring a killer collaboration with SubDocta on closing cut “Bambaataa,” you can expect three more high-octane listens. The almost eeriem, nursery rhyme-esque melodies shape “Duck Duck Goose,” and both “Mountain G.O.A.T” and “Bad Mon Choon” build up the intensity levels slowly before going in hard with eye-watering low-end electricity.
