In 2011, Ourstage and MTV added Bounce Music Festival to their list of top five EDM festivals in the United States which also included Ultra Music Festival and Electric Daisy Carnival. Fast forward to 2012 and Bounce Music Festival is back with three dates this fall hitting Raleigh, North Carolina, Mesa, Arizona and Nashville, Tennessee. Headliners for the tour include Alesso, Martin Solveig, Hardwell, Deniz Koyu and Rusko.
As entrepreneurs, we look to solve problems. For Brandon Silverstein and Jared Lyons, the regular nightlife scene just didn’t have what they were looking for, so they decided to form a festival to expose college students to the energy of live electronic dance music. Aware of their target market, Silverstein and Lyons are focused on producing a premiere event while keeping ticket prices low. Bounce Music Festival in Mesa, Arizona includes Martin Solveig, Hardwell, Deniz Koyu and Tim Mason for only $38 (Wantickets Presale).
Lyons in a press release,
“We’ve both seen how grandiose live shows with EDM artists can be, and we didn’t want to short change anyone’s experience. I think now that we have a strong backbone, we can really showcase a variety of talent with an even bigger production setup- lights, lasers, more of the blow up balls floating in the crowd…but most of all for everyone to just witness the experience that is electronic dance music.”
Brandon Silverstein and Jared Lyons are certainly making a name for themselves in the electronic dance music industry. Not only were they able to bring Bounce Music Festival back and even bigger than the year before, but earlier this year they partnered with Xtreme Brands for Spring Break edition of the festival in Puerto Vallarta that sold over 10,000 packages. Bounce Music Festival also works with student organizations and local businesses to fully involve the community in the experience.
