There is no better way to bring in the New Year than by dancing on the beach of Playa Del Carmen with over 250 artists from across the world. The sixth year of BPM Festival is right around the corner and after the great successes of last year, BPM is prepared to provide festival guests with the ultimate “fun in the sun” experience.
BPM begins January 4th, and lasts an astonishing ten days. The festival consists of two phases with separate line-ups of big name artists, bringing in sunshine, beats, and positive vibrations. The first line up features Carl Cox, Dubfire, Mark Knight, Steve Angello, and even a few of our friends from the CNTRL Beyond EDM Tour. Sander van Doorn, and Sunnery James and Ryan Marciano are making their BPM debut during the second phase of the festival.
Varying from Dubfire‘s SCI+TEC extravaganza with Carlo Lio to Lee Burridge‘s classic All Day I Dream beach party, Playa is jammed with unbeatable parties. There are numerous BPM veterans, and even a few new comers this year, all ready for a tropical dance music paradise. Legend Danny Tenaglia along with a few other guests will be throwing down for the closing BPM finale.
Day parties are taking place at Kool Beach Club, Mamita’s Beach Club and Canibal Royal Beach Club, some of the most exquisite locations along the Caribbean sea with scenery we often dream about. At night, the town is turnt up at Blue Parrot Night Club, Coco Maya Night Club, La Santanera, Alux Cave, Blue Venado, and Marlins After Hours with beats blasting until sunrise (more parties to be announced). Yes, it basically is a non-stop party. From the parties to the showcases, BPM offers the music we love through an unforgettable ten day experience.
BPM is like no other festival and some major recognition must go to the dedicated fans able to attend all ten days. Mexico is a sunny destination, but the BPM Festival 2013 lineup is definitely dark. Get ready because BPM ensures that you will get a banging start to the New Year. Bring your shades, because the weather in Mexico will be sunny with a chance of techno.
One New Year’s resolution you should make, however, is to attend BPM Festival, returning on 4th January to the gloriously tropical climes of Mexico’s stunning coastline region, Playa Del Carmen, for its sixth edition… Originally conceived as the industry’s chance to escape the grind of constant travelling and endless late nights, by offering a series of beachside parties in paradise with plenty of downtime, its evolved into a fully-fledged festival bearing possibly the longest line-up of underground dance talent we’ve ever laid eyes on each year. It’s only getting bigger, too.” –– DJ Mag
